The Current River Storm have now won eight games in a row as they hold off the Thunder Bay Bandits.

John Whitfield collected the game winner on Thursday night to go along with two assists.

Other goal scorers for the Storm (14-3-0-0-0) include Gage Hordy (2), Jonathan Beaucage, Jett Mintenko, Alex Smith and Noah Power.

Keagan Jones scores twice for the Bandits (9-6-1-0-0) while Alex Arella and Kaelen Sherman also found the back of the net.

The Bandits have now dropped three consecutive games.
