The Nipigon Elks remain winless as they fall to the Current River Storm 5-2.

Nolan Sloan had a two point night for the Storm (12-3-0-0-0) with Jonathan Beaucage picking up the game winning goal on Wednesday night. Liam Duclos, Nicholas Silvaggio and newcomer Brandon Gustafson round out the scoring.

Kyler Smith registers a powerplay goal for the Elks (0-13-0-0-0) while Daniel Lombardo had the other marker for the home team.

Both teams are back in action on Saturday night.
