It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of John Saasto, a long-time pillar of the LJHL and a true champion of junior hockey in our district.

John’s dedication, passion, and tireless advocacy shaped the lives of countless young men over the years, leaving a lasting legacy in the hockey community.

We have lost not only a devoted leader but a special person whose impact will be remembered for generations.

A service to honour John's life will be held on June 10th at 12:00 PM at Hilldale Lutheran Church on Hilldale Road.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
