ST. PAUL -- The Current River Storm have one more test before the playoff round of the 2025 Central Canada Cup.
Thursday morning saw the Storm upend the Keystone Junior Hockey League champion OCN Storm 9-1 on the strength of four goals from Nolan Desjardins.
Hudson Gerry, Gage Hordy, Braeden Duchesne, Jonathan Beaucage and Rylan Grenier also found the back of the net.
The night cap saw the offence go cold in a 4-0 loss to the host St. Paul Canadiens of the North Eastern Alberta Junior B Hockey League.
The Storm have a 2-1 record, which assures them of one of the four spots in Saturday's semifinals.
Their last round robin game happens on Friday, April 18th against the Wetaskiwin Icemen of the Capital Junior Hockey League at 2:30 p.m. ET.
