Nolen Sloan is now a prospect of the defending Joe Ward Memorial champion Current River Storm.

The 18-year-old forward was picked first overall in the 2024 Prospect Draft on May 16.

The top goaltender in the draft went next to the Thunder Bay Bandits as they chose Nick Pavletic.

The Schreiber Falcons used their opening round pick to claim defenceman Issac Magill while the Thunder Bay Northern Hawks went with rearguard Ethan Buckell.

The Nipigon Elks used their first pick to select local forward Lucas Dupuis.
